FRAP (Centre for Prevention of Radicalisation in Prison)
We support and encourage professionals working at penal institutions and offender support services to recognise radicalisation at an early stage and to counter the extremes in a preventive way. We focus on the phenomena of right-wing extremism as well as extremism based on religion (e.g. Islamic extremism and violent Salafism).
SPECIALIST CENTER FOR THE PREVENTION OF RADICALIZATION IN PRISON AND OFFENDER SUPPORT IN SAXONY-ANHALT
The specialist center supports professionals in prisons and offender support services in recognizing and responding to radicalization as early as possible. It focuses on the phenomena of right-wing extremism and derogatory behavior (group-focused misanthropy) as well as phenomena of religious extremism, e.g. Islamism, violent Salafism and ethno-religious conflicts. The services offered by the specialist center are aimed at professionals working in independent offender support and the social services of the justice system, employees of prisons in the state of Saxony-Anhalt and professionals working at the interface between the prison system and social space.
